Anatomy image of the human being, showing a male specimen depicting the skeleton and internal organs(not all of them). You can clearly see the front bones and some joint articulations. You can also see some vital organs such as the liver, the intestine and the lungs. Some main arteries and veins from the neck are visible too. The skin is outlined around all the body, except the top of the body. I wonder why. Maybe they couldn’t draw the hair, so they stoped on the ears.
Anyway, the first thought that came on my mind when I saw the picture was, “wow, that’s nice”, as I used to draw skeletons too, so I have a kind of sympathy for them. But seeing a picture like that one, that clearly has the intention of study, you see how man is not much above other animals, or maybe not at all. Man too is just an animal. A clever one, you may say, but an animal. And seeing it as the picture shows, gives us another perspective of the position of man in the world, in the nature. Man is on top of the Food chain, and yes, is clever. But we must no let this come over our heads. We must realize we are part of something bigger, that all animals play their part in nature and that we can’t survive without them.

The picture is a clear image of a skeleton of a living being belonging to the species of ‘Homosapiens’ or in short a human being.The skeleton appears to be that of a male human being.The person whom the skeleton belongs to appears to have been a full bodied grown up individual.
The entire image is poised on a background of a black colored contour and the middle portion of the same has a vertical slab of light creamy yellow running in the midst splitting it into two equal halves on either side. The body of the human being is outlined in a slightly darker shade of yellow as compared to the vertical slab. Finally the inside most layer is the skeleton which is the subject matter of the entire image. The skull portion has been indented with brown color to highlight the prominence of the eye socket. The rib cage too, below the skull has been indented with the brown color to accentuate the chest region graphically.
The spontaneous knee jerk reaction to a skeleton image is that of a mixture of fascination and mortification and mine happens to be the same as well.
