And the image was hosted on the site 'public-domain-images.com'. It is a very beautiful and colorful image. And it is photographed in a very good angle. The color of the parrot give the image an excellent outlook. These orange parrots are seen in Himalayas and African rain forests and in Amazone. These birds are amazing and very colorful. It is really a gift of nature. But these birds are now grouped under endangered species. Their population in forests are decreasing due to human hunting and cutting down of forests. Mainly people catch them for marketing them as pets. But they cannot survive in those conditions away from forests in small cages. Even though many trusts and organisations are working for their protection still many of them are caught for sale in markets. So we must try our best to stop sale of these parrots at least in our region. African parrots are of different types varying in color, size, and appearance. Although many governments have banned their sales still a lot of them are sold in countries like India, Africa , Srilanka and Bangladesh. Anyway the image is a very wonderful one. It's looking over it's shoulder at you as if it's saying, "Hello, there..see how gorgeous I am." It has bright solid orange feathers on it's head, the feathers under it's eye are scarce, giving it the effect of white striping. Then it has bright orange mixed with some greenish brown and dirty yellow feathers under the orange on the body, and a cream colored beak on top, but black on the bottom. The blurred background you can tell is palm tree fronds giving it a tropical feel. This parrot is extremely unique because there are not many parrots that have all orange heads like this. Unfortunetly, there is no way of being able to tell just by looking at this photo exactly what type of parrot this is without seeing the rest of his body. This particular picture only shows the head of the parrot, the neck, and the very tip top of his body. Even though you can't see the entire bird though, it is apparent that this is a very regal and special bird, well worth taking the time to look at and photograph. Very intruiging.
