    THE HOUSE:
This house picture was a black and white photograph it shows the real colour of the period when the photo is taken. It looks like there was no people living on the house because it was surrounded by uncut grasses and gives a rusty look as it was not maintained.Even the fencing was irregular and not properly fenced, and there was grass cutter which seems to be broken and it cannot be used further. The house has three sheds around it. One in the front, other 2 in the right side. There was an advertisement saying some show was been going on like world exposition shows, and there was an other advertisement saying “chew tub tobacco” might be an cigar advertisement. The other one was naming Red Man. The house was for barn and people had been vacated from the place. The house was surrounded by trees and airy and even the house has many widows for the ventilation to let the air inside. But the house was not fit enough to live more as it had been spoiled due to the bad weather and the outer wall can fall any time and it was in a dangerous position. I wonder if nobody is around that area to whom for the advertisement is? or if the notice had been pasted before the collision, how could it was damaged?

The image shows a black and white photograph of an oddly shaped barn. The barn has a small yard around it defined by a natural wooden fence. The barn appears to be older and its construction is odd pieced-together construction. It does not apear to be in a high traffic area. The grass is long around the fence and there are several small trees near by. Part of the barn appears to be dirty or rotting and there is an old piece of machinery on the ground. There are several posters on different parts of the barn. One says “Chew TUB tobacco. The others refer to the World Exposition Shows. These are as tall as a person. My reaction to the image is to think that this farm looks a little sad. It looks as if the posters are in an area usually inhabited by animals. But the posters must be targeted at people. It makes me curious about what is behind the photographer. What kind of people were around to advertise to? Whoever was around was probably at least as excited about the World Exposition Shows as I am. The poster is very exciting and dynamic. It makes me wonder about the poster’s subjects as well.
