The subject of this image is a hood ornament on a very old car. The hood ornament is a profile of a devil making an insulting gesture by sticking his thumb to his nose with his left hand. He is also grinning has horns and pointy ears. The ornament appears to be silver however the picture is in black and white which makes me think that this photograph was probably taken when this car was actually in use. The hood ornament does not look like an original piece to the car since at the base it appears that it was welded on from the looks of the dimples in the metal. Also, usually hood ornaments suggest a brand or mark of the vehicle and I have never heard of a brand whose mascot is a devil. Although one cannot see the car itself, I feel that the car is probably a very nice car since the devil is making a gesture that would suggest that it is bragging to other car owners or pedestrians. I like this picture a lot because it’s a funny photo. It makes me think it is owned by some wealthy industrialist who doesn’t care what others think of him.

THE DEVIL OVER THE CAR:
The vintage car was built between 1919 and at the end of 1930.Most of the cars even now carry out some symbols which mostly would be the symbol of the company. But in the photograph it was a devil which had a teasing gesture. That is teasing somebody might be its friend. The devil was in a complete suit and the jaws and the nails were very sharp and that shows that it was a devil. A horn in the head shows that it might be the head of all devils. Children will get scared if they see it.On the other way it may also make them happy by seeing as it reflects both scary and comedy in its face.
The vintage period is said to be the period of automotive, world was a time of transition. Cars become much more practical, convenient and comfortable during this period.During this period as well as the car adapting , society began to adapt to the car.The colour picture of a vintage car would be beautiful which makes us remember the old period when actually cars become booming. Now a days these cars can be seen only in the show rooms or museum or in some idol displays. But there are people still admire on these cars. I am the one among them.

The classic image is of an vintage old car with a scary devil ornament on its hood. The photo shows a devil lifting one of his hand which is used to decorate the hood. It seems from the image that the hood ornament might have been welded later after the production of the car most possibly because of the interest of the owner. The devil has spikey hairs, a sharp nose and is seen to be laughing. The picture is very cool and it is a fabulous idea to use it as a decoration for the hood. It is a very unique idea too. When i first saw the image i was shocked when i looked at the devil. Gives a creepy feeling but i must admit the designer of this devil has done a magnificent job. The image of the whole car is not fully shown but from looking at the partial image i, i believe that the car was really a great classic one. possibly the owner was some rich politician or industrialist. Personally i like this image a lot because it gives me a funny and a scary feeling when i look at the devil at the same time. Nice classic picture.
