This image shows the first military aircraft, Signal Corps Airplane No. 1. This was a creation of Wright Brothers, in response to a request by the United States War Department for a “Heavier-than-air Flying Machine.” The Wright brothers’ design was accepted into service, despite a crash during test flights that resulted in the death of a co-pilot.
This image was taken by an unknown photographer in 1908. Due the the date of origination, along with its likely publication, we believe it resides in the public domain. Please contact Ars Publik if you believe this designation is in error.

WORLD’S FIRST AIRCRAFT:
1.The Wright Brother’s Aircraft is horizontally long with the huge feathers like a falcon bird, with two vertical beak like structure.
2.It has two long chains to pedal so that the aircraft flies high.
3.so the worlds first aircraft needed physical exercise to fly high.
4.The wheels of the aircraft is like a wheels of a cycle which is huge but suited for that aircraft.
5.People were anxiously waiting to see or handle the aircraft, but no lady pilot is visible.
6.The cockpit has only one seat of which only the pilot can sit.
7.The image mostly produce the outer structure of the aircraft.
8.The internal structure is also visible but not much.
9.It is also hard for the normal layman to understand if the internal structure is viewed.
10.As the aircraft is standing in the lawn,hope it is not ready for the take off but is kept as a visual treat.
11.Men were wearing hat, so from the first take off it is known pilot should wear cap. It has become as a practice from the first flight.
12.As it was a military aircraft, persons who were flying should carry the weapons along with them.
13. The only sad story was that a copilot was dead during the experiment.
14. But no good things are achieved without loss of time, money, hard work and loss of life.

This is the photograph of Signal Corps airplane No.1, the first military aircraft.The aircraft was created by by Wright Brothers, who invented the first aircraft. The aircraft was created in response to a request by the United States War Department, for a war plane.
The photograph is black and white in color. And the image is a real photograph of Signal Corps airplane No.1. The photograph is considered to be taken in 1908. So the image does not posses high clarity. But the image gives a good view of the aircraft.
When i saw the image i thought it was the first aircraft designed by wright brothers. After reading the details i understood that it was the first fighter plane. And from this description only i understood that the first fighter plane was also invented by Wright Brothers.
My aim is to become a pilot. so i was interested to watch and read any news about aircrafts. Whenever i hear the sound of aeroplanes i used to ran out of my house to watch it. And if there used to be fighter plane shows in my native place every year and i never missed it. It is always interesting to watch planes flying over the skies and one day i hope i will also fly one.
