The image is a scan of an old black and white picture of a city, taken in the fifties of the last century. The city probably is located in the United States. The picture shows a very wide street, with several people in their usual day-to day activities. There are a few black classic model T-ford cars in the wide street and some civillians on foot. On the right side of the street, two people are unloading from the back of the car. In front of the car a bicycle is perche against the sidewalk. In the front of the picture is a large eight stories high white building, stating ‘keith’s high class vaudeville’. In the background of the image is a more parkish-street with trees, in front of which a tram drives towards the photographer. The track run in the middle of the street, straight through it. Between the park and the white building are several black or dark buildings, on the left of the park are several lower white buildings. Thy sky is clear, cloud-free but the sun is not visible in the image. Despite the good weather, there is a man with an opened umbrella in the background.
